Flanagan | Pariseau Wedding
In August, the team traveled to the Barn at Boyden Farm to celebrate the marriage of Jenna Pariseau and Tim Flanagan. After months of preparation, the Barn was decorated with stunning hydrangea centerpieces in homemade crates crafted specially by the bride and with young saplings lining the Barn’s posts. The trees and posts were lit by string lights and lanterns illuminated the central aisle of the Barn, completely transforming the space. There were also string lights criss-crossed over the dance floor and a large "J & T" that made the space personal for the bride and groom.
To complete their country chic look, the couple hand-selected all of the details that made their decor truly memorable. From the checkered ribbon ties on the red striped napkins, to the horseshoe wedding favors, and the antique skis that the guests signed, Jenna and Tim’s style came through in every detail.
The true excitement of the day came when the when the bride and groom arrived on site for their first look. Judging by their smiles and goofy faces, these two are perfect for each other. Jenna looked stunning in a vintage lace dress with a light pink sash that complimented her radiant beauty and Tim looked dashing in a beige cotton suit with a blue tie. Paired with their bridesmaids in bright red dresses and groomsmen in suits that matched Tim’s, they completed the country chic package.
As the guests began arriving, we turned our attention to the pavilion where the couple was to be married. The ceremony space was sparsely decorated with just two urns, highlighting the beauty of the natural landscape of the valley. Shepard’s hooks lined the wide aisle, creating a perfect entrance for the beautiful bride. Jenna was escorted down the aisle by her brother who snuck in for a quick hug with Tim, setting a very sweet tone for the ceremony. Along with the harmony provided by the two violinists and the officiant’s kind words, this ceremony was truly romantic.
As the couple snuck off for some formal photos, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour outside on the Barn’s patio. However, the guests quickly began exploring the grounds of the vineyard and getting some stunning photographs for themselves as well. A particular favorite photo-op spot was the blue silo just left of the Barn, providing a perfect balance between industrial and rustic. But before long, everyone was ushered inside to welcome the party for the couple’s first dance and the speeches, along with dinner catered by Let’s Pretend Catering and dancing to follow.
One very special part of this wedding was the live band, Lost in Paris. These five guys certainly knew how to get the party started and kept the dance floor full all night long. Guests and staff alike were all very impressed by their renditions of many popular songs and only stopped dancing briefly to get some pictures of the gorgeous sunset over the vineyard. There were many dance-offs between groomsmen, and it was tough to call a winner! It was such a fun-filled evening; it was a pleasure to see Jenna and Tim’s beaming smiles throughout the night. We loved working with this couple and we wish them a long and happy marriage!
